SUMMARY:District Scout Around Town Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Around Town Challenge is a one-day event of local exploration and fun challenges for the Scout section. Teams of between 4 and 7 scouts travel around Stevenage by bus and foot\, completing activities and this year there will be a mystery to solve on the way around. \nFour Scout HQs around town offer activities as well as providing refreshments.  Challenges always include archery and rifle shooting and then a selection of challenges that vary each year. Previously these included a pictionary hike\, cooking twists over a fire\, making a knotting board and a camping stove challenge. \nThe days challenges end with the teams arriving back at the District Scout HQ for a sausage and chip dinner. \nThe Around Town Challenge trophy is presented to the winning team.  Are you up to the challenge?
